Das nova-Institut aus Hürth im Rheinland entwickelt eine Fallstudie im EU-Projekt BIOCORE. Im Rahmen dieser Fallstudie führen die Projektpartner CIMV, ECN und VTT in den kommenden Monaten Untersuchungen mit verschiedenen Rohstoffen durch.

For the fourth time, the nova-Institute (Huerth, Germany) awarded the "Biomaterial of the Year 2011" at the International Congress on Bio-based Plastics and Composites in Cologne on March 15th 2011. The Third German WPC Congress www.wpc-kongress.de in Cologne took place on the 2nd-3rd of December 2009. With 300 participants from 26 countries and 30 exhibitors, it continues to establish itself as the leading European congress for the WPC industry. STAEDTLER was awarded the WPC Innovation Award 2009 for its WOPEX pencil.

Der Dritte Deutsche WPC-Kongress in Köln (2. - 3. 12., www.wpc-kongress.de) kann sich mit 300 Teilnehmern aus 26 Ländern sowie 30 Ausstellern als europäischer Leitkongress der Branche weiter etablieren. Publikumwahl vergibt WOPEX-Bleistift der Firma STAEDTLER den WPC-Innovationspreis 2009.
